I’m an integrative trained counsellor having gained my BA Hons in counselling at the University of Suffolk.
Being integrative means I can draw on all therapeutic models in my sessions, with the basis of my practice coming from a humanistic approach, this is where the relationship between client and therapist is the most important aspect with the sessions being client led, whilst providing an empathic, safe, non judgemental and confidential space for the client to work through what they need to. I also use CBT as this has proven to be useful when working with young people and adults of all ages. I have experience of working with Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Eating Disorders and also Suicidal Ideation / Thoughts. Working remotely and face to face.
